Using our outsourced typing service is easy and fast.
  1. Dictate into your digital Dictaphone, PDA, Blackberry, mobile phone or laptop.
  2. Save your voice files on an internet-enabled device such as your computer.
  3. Log into your Typesource account and upload your voice files.
  4. You will receive an email when your typed documents are available. Retrieve them from your Typesource account.
Recording Voice Files

Recording your voice files couldn't be easier. All you need is a device with voice-recording capability, such as a digital Dictaphone.

Some mobile phones, PDAs and Blackberrys also have this functionality and, if your computer has a microphone, you can record direct to your hard disc. Most of these devices will save your recording as WAV files, but any sound format is acceptable.

When you have recorded your document, save it as normal with a descriptive title such as 'Letter to Brian'. We suggest you save these documents in the normal place on your hard disc. Then when you are ready to upload the file, you will browse to the place where you saved it, just like attaching a file to an email.

If you don’t have a digital Dictaphone or other device that allows you to record voice files, we can provide you with a dictation machine and software and you will soon be ready to enjoy the substantial benefits of outsourced typing.
